Well folks, I just got the word, Rick's family have decided to cremate him and due to the weather and a large part of his family are from further north they will wait until warmer weather to have a memorial for him.
A BIG AMEN TO THAT BROTHER. EASY ALWAYS BRIGHTENED A GATHERING OR JUST A CONVERSATION. I MISS HIM ALREADY, BUT AS YOU SAID THE SKY SEEMS A LITTLE BRIGHTER. HE'LL SURELY ALWAYS RIDE WITH US IN MEMORY.
Rick was one of the good guys. Always in a good mood and quick to share his wit. The Caveboys are going to really miss him. It is hard when you lose one of your own. The campfire won't be so bright tonight but the sky will be a little brighter because Rick is there now. Ride free Brother.
Dorothys address is 1215 S State Hwy 176 Rockaway Beach MO 65740...... I am told that Rick will be cremated and there will be a memorial service to be announced later
If anyone is talking to Dorothy - please let her know we are thinking of her and if there's anything we can do ... please let us know. If anyone has her address - could you please get it to us? Rick will be missed by all that knew him.
This came as such a shock to us. We thought that Rick was in better shape then most of us. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Dorothy and family for comfort. Rick will be missed by everyone in Rt. 66, OMT, and ORH. He was a main player on all the forums. Dang!!! Our day just got a lot cloudier. If there's anything we can do. It is with very deep regret that I must let everyone know that we have lost one of our own. Rick Baker our road captian has passed away this morning. I don't have any of the details yet other than he was found at home. I will pass on more information as it becomes available.....
