I keep telling Dale you can't stand downwind of that quano or you're gonna get sick but he's a tough ol' caveboy and thinks he can handle it. When you are in a bat invested cave, you gotta be sure there is a source of fresh air between you and the bats. Cuddling up to one in bed is probably a real no-no. Orkin Al is working on a new air freshner that will probably help with the problem but he doesn't have it perfected yet. Guano is some pretty potent stuff and it takes a lot to cover up the smell. Al's already tried horse manure but, even though it smells better, it isn't quite strong enough. He thinks if he can get some manure from Rosie and Cleon's mules that might do the trick. I knew there was a reason Cleon switched from goats to mules.
Here's hoping you and our sister bat get to feeling better real quick! It's tough having the bug at the same time, but look at it this way ... neither of you will get spoiled while the other one runs around fixing chicken noodle soup. I think I smell spring today - oh the smell of exhaust and humm of a VW engine. That's pure happiness!
