RE: PRAYERS NEEDED

Hey, Rosie and Cleon, You are both in our prayers. Glad to know Cleon is doing better and that it probably wasn't a stroke. See you soon riding on Three. Mr. Al and Sue Bbiggrin.gif

Yes -- that's exactly the type of migraines he's had in the past.  Neurologist just here -- he's going to have an MRI if it's negative we're out of here TODAY!!!!  She's quite sure it will be negative -- agrees that its that transient migraine instead of stroke!  Happy dance in West Plains today!

So glad to hear that Cleon's doing better. That had to be quite scary. It almost sounds like what that reporter had happen to her during the Super Bowl game. They said that was migraine related. We are still sending prayers your way. Love you guys.

Sounds like Cleon is already on the mend. Don't worry Rosie, he will be sure you get to work on time (smile). Hope he is right about going home today. Give him a hug for all of us.

We're back up - the beds aren't the most comfortable.  Now he's in a chair - snacking on crackers and OJ.  He's convinced that he's going home today - I don't know about that!

Glad to hear that things aren't worse than they are. The memory thing is scary but I deal with that every day. Got a path worn between the shop and the house cause I keep forgetting to take things one way or the other. Rosie, please tell Cleon that we are all pullling for him and for you. Glad he has you there to look out for him. He couldn't be in better hands.

He's finally sleeping - he'd been jabbering away since he got to the ER.  I took a catnap in my fancy hospital recliner and am now wide awake.  Wondering why they keep hospital rooms soooo cold????  I know the secret combo to the thermostat and I just cranked her up to 80 degrees.
I'm not so sure this was a stroke - I think it was a migraine type event.  That's my diagnosis and I'm sticking to it at this time.  I'll let ya know if I'm headed for medical school later!

JUST GOT BACK FROM THE HOSPITAL A BIT AGO AND CLEON'S DOIN BETTER ALL THE TIME. IT AFFECTED HIS MEMORY ONLY AND THAT WAS GETTING BETTER WHILE WE WERE THERE. HE KNEW BARB AND I WHEN WE GOT THERE AND KNEW SANDY, BUT DIDN'T KNOW WHO GENE WAS. THOUGHT FOR A WHILE HE LIVED IN THE HOUSE THEY LIVED IN WHEN THEY FIRST MOVED HERE. BARB JUST TALKED TO ROSIE AGAIN AND HE REMEMBERS THAT WE WERE THERE TONIGHT SO SEEMS TO BE COMMIN OUT OF IT AND IMPROVING GRADUALLY. YA'LL KEEP HIM IN YOUR PRAYERS.

He's doing better -- trying to piece together the events of today - he has no memory of yesterday or today.  His mouth is going clackety, clackety, clack - it's the same thing over and over!  He really needs a nap but they're doing neuro checks every hour. I think he's having an MRI in the morning - will keep you informed of any changes.
