I understand that they asked Paw to wear his patch and star in the new True Grits movie but he told them he had to get the web pages done. Now that is dedication. Paw knows all about grits. After all Sheri is from Louisiana. If it's on your plate down there, if it ain't crawdads, its grits or hush puppies.

Thanks Paw for all the hard work you do on all the web sites. We do appreciate you. Being web master or news letter editor are kind of thankless jobs. You gotta know that everyone appreciates ya even if they don't say so. All we all think about is harrassing each other and not all it takes to keep being able to do that. SO A BIG THANKS TO YOU!!!!!
Just got home from Paw's and we got his computer up and running again. He wanted me to let everyone know that he would be working on the web sites tonite. Knowing Paw, he will have everything updated by tomorrow morning. Good, cheap help is hard to find so you might want to let him know he is appreciated.
Thats good news, I think the main problem is Jerry is down in the dumps with Sheri gone out of town, Dang!, I think that old bird likes her a little. He spends too much time by himself so if your in the area, stop by and say Hi to him...... Merry Christmas to All Y' All
I am going to stop by Jerry's tomorrow and see if I can't find a remedy for the problem. I am able to access all the sites and make changes, so there is no reason he can't. Apparently the Geek Squad told him he needed all the files on his computer which is bulls--t. I can access the sites and I don't have any of the files on my computer. I am in the process of downloading all the files from the sites so we can install them on Jerry's computer but I don't believe that is the problem. Will give everyone a status report after I talk to Jerry tomorrow.
Questions have been asked about why the sebsites have not been updated and/or corrected, the biggest problem is that we no longer have a webmaster. I talked to Jerry and even now that his computer is fixed he still does not have the files for the website pages. He said he just does not want to go through all the work involved in rebuilding all the web pages so he would like to have someone elso take over the job he has done so well at for so many years. After Jerrys computer crashed way back in October he could no longer access the program to do maintenance and and make upgrades. He has just recently got his computer repaired but he lost all the files for the websites, not just the Route 66 site but also OMT and State sites so all that has to be redone from scratch and Jerry is just to burnt out to start all over again building websites that took him 10 years to do. The forum is the only thing working on all the websites and someone suggested that everyone just use the MO State website. Jerry can't even shut down the sites so they are just existing. I am going to post this message on the State site as well as here (rt 66) and maybe we can get someone to take over as webmaster and get everything fixed.
