DJ, yes it is off and a running. I have put up a little website so everyone can talk on the Forum. I don't have the time right now to do a very good job on it but that will come later. I'll work on the Forum to night and post it. Okay! Paw's just Jawin'

CHAPTER MINUTES


The meeting was called to order at 4:20 P.M. by interim Director Rick Arthur. Introductions were made around the room. 14 members were present and 1 guest.


Donna Egge was asked to read the minutes from the October meeting. Minutes were accepted and approved by all as read.


Old Business - Diane Arthur checked into different locations in Springfield where the meetings could be held.


Ryan's Steakhouse


Golden Corral


Hooter's


Denny's


Shoney's


Western Sizzler


Steve Lilley made the motion to continue meeting at Ryan's Steakhouse, motion was seconded and it was carried. Also decided by all to hold the meeting on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 4:00 P.M.


There will be no December meeting, due to the upcoming busy holiday season. Next meeting will be held on January 21, 2007.


Sheri Ducker reported to the group, over 300 people were served at the Victory Mission Thanksgiving Meal. The dinner was showed on the Springfield TV stations and the BTW was featured. Sheri thanked all who helped out.


New Business - The main order of business was the election and appointment of officiers.


Rick Arthur stated he would be happy to be the Assistant Director, but at this time, he didn't want to hold the office of Director.


Duane Kennedy and Jerry Ducker were nominated for the position. Duane Kennedy won the election. He was warmly welcomed by the group as the new Director.


Duane took over the chair at that point.


Treasurer - Jerry Ducker agreed to be the treasurer.


Secretary - Robin Kennedy


Historian - Don Hendricks


Sunshine greeter - Donna Egge


Webmaster - Jerry Ducker


The positions of newsletter editor, road captain, activities coorinator, and sargent-at-arms will be filled at a later date.


 Name for chapter - "Route 66 Trikers" was submitted by Jerry Ducker. Donna Egge suggested "Trikers -N- Thunder" (TNT for short) and also "Spirit Wind" The name of "Route 66 Trikers" was chosen by the majority. It was discussed that members should design a logo for patches and pins and bring drawings to the next meeting.


Our "Route 66 Trikers" have 2 sponsors. Don Hendricks of "Trike Worx". Tom and Linda Semro of "Possum Pride" trike body works. They paid $20.00 each to our treasurer, Jerry Ducker. The Route 66 Trikers thanked them for the generosity.


It was discussed to have 50/50 drawings, donate door prizes to raffle so money could be raised for the group. It was suggested also to pass the hat. This will be further discussed again in January.


Duane asked if that was any more business and if none, a motion to be made to adjourn. Motion was made, seconded and all in favor. Meeting was adjourned at 5:15 PM.


Diane Arthur gave away a ladies' and gentleman's prize baskets. Jerry Ducker won the basket for the lady and Diane Arthur won the one for the guy. Thank you from the Route 66 Trikers to Diane for the baskets.


 Next meeting - January 21, 2007 starting at 4:00 PM at Ryan's Steakhouse in Springfield.
